Ever
since our inception we have been dedicated to maximising the reliability
of computer systems. This is a fast-moving industry and does perhaps
sometimes focus too much on the ultimate in system speed and capability
at the expense of reliability.
Over
the years we have discovered many factors which affect reliability
ranging from the way in which systems are constructed to the type
of components used. We have now formalised our experience into a
set of guidelines which we incorporate into all new and used systems.
This is our SuperCare service and is your assurance that every possible
action has been achieved to give you the best result.
SuperCare
service guarantees:
- In
new systems we use only parts with a full manufacturers warranty.
- Every
component in both new and used systems is thoroughly tested to
a very high standard.
- On
used systems, any component having a fault which might affect
it's performance or reliability is rejected.
- Every
system has a full test report attached detailing the tests carried
out and the devices installed (graphics, memory, hard drive etc.)
- Where
an Operating System has been installed, all the latest software
updates for it (security patches etc.) are always loaded.
- On
used systems any cosmetic defects (scratches, minor stuck pixels
etc.) are noted on the test report.
- All
systems are built to a high standard based on our experience of
optimising component mounting, air-flow and other system cooling
factors, and the routing of internal cabling.
- Minimum
of 24-hours continuous testing performed on every system using
our proprietory User Simulation software. This automatically runs
a typical sequence of user actions including opening & running
programs, loading data files and shutting down and restarting
the computer.
- An
internal and external visual check is made.
-
All
systems undergo a brief re-test immediately before despatch.
